hedgehog slice

This is especially designed for all the serious chocolate lovers – intensely chocolate, full of crunch and with the contrasting flavour of  dried apricots and sultanas – sublime!

 

Ingredients

 

350g dark chocolate pieces

175g butter

1 1/2 cup chopped biscuits

1 cup sultanas

1/2 cup dried apricots, sliced

 

Method:

 

Melt chocolate and butter. Fold in biscuits, sultanas and apricots. Line a loaf pan with gladwrap generously.  Pour the mix into this loaf tin.  Place in fridge to set.

 

Cook’s tip: Nuts can be added to this mix if desired.

For extra quick results, whizz your biscuits in the food processor.

The gladwrap makes it easy to lift out of the pan and slice.  Run your knife under the hot water tap for a few seconds before slicing this chocolate extravaganza
